Snibbl FZ LLE (“Snibbl,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information when you use our website, mobile applications on iOS, Android, tablets, or other devices, and all related services (collectively, the “Platform”). This Privacy Policy sets out in detail how we collect, process, use, disclose, and safeguard information about you. It also describes your choices regarding these technologies and how you can control them and your rights under the applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates (“UAE”), including Federal Decree Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (“PDPL”).

By registering, browsing, or placing an order on the Platform, you acknowledge and agree to the practices described herein.

Personal Contact Information

Snibbl may collect personal details from users of the Platform, including but not limited to first and last names, street address, area and city information, contact numbers, email address, GPS location when accessing the mobile application, and government-issued identification where legally required. Collectively, this is referred to as “Personally Identifiable Information” or “PII.”

In addition, Snibbl may collect information about your activity as a registered account holder, such as your order history, preferred restaurants and shops, details of customer service inquiries, reviews posted about restaurants, shops or services, and your preferences expressed on social networks (for example, the pages you “like” or “recommend”).

Snibbl also uses analytics and tracking tools to understand traffic patterns on the Platform, to measure performance, and to support our advertising and promotional activities. Statistical information generated from this data may be shared with third parties in anonymized form that does not include your PII.

Non-Personally Identifiable Information

Non-Personally Identifiable Information (“Non-PII”) includes aggregated data, demographic details, and other information that does not on its own reveal your identity. Snibbl and its authorized third-party service providers may collect Non-PII such as device identifiers, MAC address, type of device, operating system version, browser type, screen resolution, demographic data such as location, gender, or date of birth. Non-PII may be combined with PII in a way that renders the resulting information personally identifiable; in such instances, Snibbl will treat the combined data as PII.

We and our partners may also use cookies, pixel tags, web beacons, and similar technologies to deliver tailored information and to improve your ongoing experience on the Platform. You may decline the use of cookies through your browser settings; however, certain features of the Platform may not function properly if cookies are disabled. IP Addresses

An IP address is a number automatically assigned to your computer or device by your Internet Service Provider (ISP). Snibbl automatically records your IP address in server log files whenever you access the Platform. These log files include information on the date and time of visits and the pages accessed. Collection of IP addresses is a common practice on the Internet and is used to calculate site usage levels, diagnose server problems, administer the Platform, and maintain security. Unless otherwise required by law, Snibbl treats IP addresses and related server log information as Non-PII.

Use of Your Information

Snibbl uses PII to create and maintain user accounts, communicate with you regarding Platform services, offer promotions and special offers, and process and charge for purchases. We may also use PII to enforce our Terms and Conditions, to resolve disputes, and to prevent fraudulent activity.

Cookies are used by Snibbl to remember returning users and enhance the browsing experience. When you log into your account, cookies may enable us to provide tailored content such as your login details, preferred language, country selection, and any personalized information associated with your profile.

Snibbl does not sell PII to third parties. However, we may share PII with third-party service providers that support the Platform’s functionality, including application programming interfaces (APIs), hosting, analytics, payment gateways, and logistics. Additionally, we share relevant order details, including your first and last name, delivery address, phone number, and order content, with restaurants, cafés, or shops as necessary to fulfill your order. Snibbl may also disclose PII to legal representatives, collection agencies, courts, regulators, or law enforcement in connection with legal obligations, disputes, or violations of Snibbl’s Terms and Conditions.

User Generated Content

Any reviews, ratings, or feedback posted on the Platform, as well as certain linked social networking activity such as “likes” or “recommendations,” may be visible to the general public. Snibbl cannot guarantee the privacy of any PII that you choose to disclose in such user-generated content.

Community and Sub-Community Interactions

The Platform offers interactive features such as communities and sub-communities (“Snibbl Circles”), where users can engage with one another, share experiences, and participate in discussions. When you post comments, upload content, react to posts with likes, or share posts within these communities, the information you disclose may become visible to other members of the community and, in certain cases, to the public.

By posting or engaging in such interactions, you understand that your username, profile information, and any content you choose to publish may be viewed, collected, or used by other users. Snibbl cannot guarantee the privacy of information you voluntarily disclose through these interactive functions. While we encourage respectful engagement, you are responsible for the content you post. Snibbl reserves the right to moderate, remove, or restrict content that violates our Terms and Conditions, infringes intellectual property, or otherwise breaches legal or ethical standards.

Community features may also allow other users to like, comment on, or share your posts, thereby further disseminating any personal or voluntary information you disclose. Snibbl may process such user-generated content for the purpose of improving community features, enforcing Platform policies, and enhancing user experience.

Your Email Address

In order to register for a Snibbl account, you are required to provide a valid email address or other suitable online contact details. This enables us to confirm your orders, contact you in the event of issues with your transactions, and provide essential communication. Without an email address, you cannot register or place orders. You may later access, update, or correct your email address through your account settings.

Your name, delivery address, and contact number may be shared with partner restaurants or shops for the purposes of fulfilling your orders. Your contact details may also be disclosed to Snibbl staff or third-party partners involved in order delivery, service analysis, or technical support. Snibbl does not sell or disclose your contact details to unauthorized third parties except where required by law or as expressly provided in this Privacy Policy.

Payment Information

When placing an order, you must select a payment method. Snibbl accepts payments by debit and credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or other approved cards). Snibbl does not store your complete debit or credit card information. For card payments, all details are transmitted securely in encrypted format to the relevant payment processor in line with globally recognized standards. With your consent, part of your card information may be stored in encrypted form to facilitate future transactions.

Order Placement Information

During the order process, Snibbl may collect personal information such as your name, address, phone number, and email address. This information is shared with the relevant restaurant or shop in order to complete your order. Snibbl has agreements in place with partner restaurants and shops restricting them from disclosing or misusing this information. Personal information collected for orders is treated as confidential and will not be disclosed to external parties except where legally required. Marketing communications will only be sent to users who have specifically opted in to receive them.

Navigation and Clickstream Data

As you browse the Platform, Snibbl collects navigational and clickstream data showing which pages you visited, which features you accessed, and the duration of your visits. This information is not personally identifiable. It is used to analyze purchases, improve user experience, comply with legal obligations, and deliver targeted advertising either directly through Snibbl or via authorized third parties. This data may be shared with Snibbl staff or third parties involved in order delivery, analysis, or technical support.

Advertising

Snibbl may engage third-party advertising companies to deliver advertisements on its behalf. These companies may use cookies, action tags, and similar technologies to measure advertising effectiveness and deliver content tailored to your interests. Information collected by such companies is anonymized and does not include your PII.

Marketing

Snibbl does not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes without your express consent. Snibbl may combine your information with data collected from other sources to improve and personalize services, content, and advertising. If you no longer wish to receive marketing communications, you may opt out by adjusting your account settings or contacting us directly.

Disclosure of Personal Information

Snibbl may disclose personal information to its employees and authorized third parties involved in the delivery of your orders, the analysis of Platform usage, or the provision of technical support. Information may also be disclosed where necessary to protect Snibbl’s legal rights, in response to actual or threatened harmful conduct, or where we have a good faith belief that disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable law, legal processes, or government requests.

Snibbl may disclose personal information to its employees and authorized third parties involved in the delivery of your orders, the analysis of Platform usage, or the provision of technical support. Information may also be disclosed where necessary to protect Snibbl’s legal rights, in response to actual or threatened harmful conduct, or where we have a good faith belief that disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable law, legal processes, or government requests.

For delivery orders, Snibbl shares only the minimum necessary personal information (such as name, contact number, and delivery location) with the Restaurant/Vendor for the sole purpose of enabling order fulfilment. Snibbl is not responsible for the handling, security, or processing of personal data once transferred for delivery fulfilment.

Account Deletion

Snibbl provides users with the option to delete their accounts through the mobile application. Accounts with outstanding payments or pending orders cannot be deleted until such matters are resolved. Once you initiate deletion, your personal data will be removed from Snibbl’s systems except where retention is required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or enforce Snibbl’s rights. Once deleted, data cannot be restored.

Cookies

When you access the Platform, our servers may send a small file called a cookie to your device. This file identifies you as a registered user and helps save time by remembering your login details and preferences. Cookies cannot transmit viruses and may only be read by the issuing server. You may choose to accept or decline cookies through your browser settings. Please note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Platform.

Delivery-Related Cookies

Where delivery is selected, the Restaurant through its own delivery personnel or a third party, may also use cookies, SDKs or similar technologies to support logistics and fulfilment. These technologies are operated independently from Snibbl and are governed by the policies of the applicable delivery provider or Restaurant. Snibbl does not control or accept liability for the deployment, functionality, security, availability, or data handling practices of these third-party delivery cookies.

Some of this information may be transferred outside the UAE. Where such transfers occur, Snibbl ensures that appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with the PDPL.

Protection and Security of Information

Snibbl maintains secure pages for the collection of personal data, and sensitive information is stored in encrypted form. Our servers use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption and are compatible with major browsers. Snibbl employs reasonable organizational, technical, and administrative measures to protect PII. However, no transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is entirely secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, you must notify Snibbl immediately using the contact information below.

Third-Party Links

This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites or services, including affiliates, that may be linked through the Platform. Snibbl is not responsible for the privacy practices of such third parties, and the inclusion of a link on the Platform does not imply endorsement by Snibbl. Users are encouraged to review the privacy policies of external sites before engaging with them.

From time to time, we may contact you with details about new products, services, discounts, promotions, or campaigns that we believe may be of interest to you. Marketing communications will only be sent with your consent, and you may opt out of receiving them at any time by adjusting your account settings or contacting our support team.

Amendments to the Privacy Policy

Snibbl reserves the right to update or amend this Privacy Policy at any time. Any revised version will be published on the Platform with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Platform after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.

Updating and Amending Your Personal Information

Registered members may update or amend their personal information at any time by logging into their account and accessing the “My Account” section. Information such as contact details, delivery addresses, and saved preferences can be modified from this section. Users who place orders as guests cannot amend their information once an order is submitted; any changes affecting the fulfillment of an order must be communicated directly to the relevant restaurant or shop.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, including Federal Decree Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL). Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the interpretation, validity, application, or enforcement of this Privacy Policy shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Dubai Courts.
